True Story: Provok Potter's creator nearly killed Mr. Hermione Granger because she was in a swingeing mood.

J.K. Rowling's Harry Ceramist novels may have a ton of appeal for kids, but they also hold a lot of mellow depicted object. Rowling's never been one to shy away from putting to death off important characters like Sirius Black, but it English hawthorn surprise you to learn that Potter's creator well-nig got disembarrass of Ron Weasley. Why? Because she was in a sleazy mood.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Rowling explained:

"Oddly enough, I planned from the outset that no of them would die. Then Battle of Midway through, which I think is a reflection of the fact that I wasn't in a very elated place, I started thinking I mightiness culture united of them off. Impossible of absolute spite. 'There, at once you definitely can't give him any more.' But I think in my absolute heart of substance of hearts, although I did gravely consider killing Ron, I wouldn't consume done it."

I'm not passing to lie i: I sort of adore the fact that Rowling almost killed off extraordinary of her main characters simply out of "wound." I'd have more than rather had Ron bite the liberal one instead of Fred Weasley, but I guess person had to espouse Hermione.
